Mind maps are part of what are called pattern notes. These notes
are not linear, instead, they have a distinctive pattern, which makes it a more visual way of taking notes.
Mind maps are useful when learning about relationships between topics as they help you see connections and provide an overview of key points. It is a hierarchical radial diagram, organising your thoughts around a central idea.
You can create a mind map by following these 3 simple steps:
Set a central topic
Add branches of related ideas
Add sub-branches for more relevant ideas
