Complete this course to help you to to get your work experience organised. The deadline for finding a placement is this term.

 Work through our course to help you to find your placement, it will take you through the steps you need to complete to be successful. You will learn how to:

  • Identify a sector to find work experience in.
  • Identify the skills you can develop from completing work experience.
  • Demonstrate effective search techniques to find the appropriate companies to approach.
  • Evaluate different methods for communicating with employers.
  • Identify your own skill set.
  • Analyse CV examples to determine the appropriateness for your sector.
  • Create or update your CV and share it safely.
  • Create a social media profile to attract employers.
  • Send at least 3 enquiries to companies about work experience.
  • Complete the Work Experience Form.
