If you have been on campus at Chaffron Way this week you may have noticed the Pride flag flying.

MK Pride is back for its second year at Campbell Park this weekend and we’re all over it! Students and staff from MK College are volunteering their time to make sure it all goes to plan.

The student LGBTQ+ group – who have named themselves MKC Pride, ran a competition last summer for Fashion Students to design them a T-Shirt to wear at the Festival and other events.

As well as proudly sporting the T-Shirts, some of the students will be taking questions on the topic,

“What’s it like to be young and LGBTQ+ in MK?”.

The panel will open with a short monologue performance from a member of the group who is also a Performing Arts student.

So come along and show your support. Full details on the event can be found here.

If you are interested in getting involved in the MKCPride student group then head to their Teams channel here

Many thanks
